We are those that precede all things. We are the incarnation of primordial and unyielding strength and power. Speak not to the ever-present Maker for your pleas and cries fall upon deaf ears. It is our hand that sets about to right those things that are not intended in the immortal plan. We are the eternal Eye of all things. We are the gods of God.

Dreaming Eye takes place in a vast and endless universe at a time when the very fabric of creation has started to unravel. For billions of years, all has gone according to plan. Planets have been born and planets have died. All things created have been watched over by the incorporeal essence of the Maker. This essence, which takes on millions of individual sentience are called the Aegis. Some worlds have called them angels, and other have called them harbingers of death. They have always worked the will of the Maker but something else has taken root in this universe, a force that was born and thrives outside the plan of the Maker. It infects, twists, and swallows the very things once watched over and protected. It has done so for thousands of years. Only now is it starting to win.

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Aegis began to show signs of infection. The force called Breach burrowed deeply into the spiritual force of Utomanea which exists where all living things dwell. Many Aegis descended from the realm of Utomanea and were forced to take physical form among mortal kind to escape consumption. When they did so, part of their divinity was left behind. Though potent spirits, they became trapped in mortal bodies. Where once they ruled with omnipotence, the Aegis fell to the unwavering force of decay. Those that remained in Utomanea fell into a dormant slumber, cut off from their brethren.

I'm currently in the final few weeks of a master’s degree in Ethics...which has opened the way to nothing. I enjoyed it but I'm done and I'm glad. I've become so attached to Missoula, MT that I've chosen to take up residence here for the next while. If you've never been you're missing out. Save the total lack of ethnic diversity, it's a wonderful place to live. Since I've been here I've become the proud owner of two rescue dogs: Belle and Cutter. Belle is a Border collie who came from a ranch after her owner died. She is now an official Delta Therapy Dog and spends her work hours with those who could use a friend. Cutter is a little less social. He was a terribly abused Blue Heeler who didn’t care much for me at first but now we're great friends. Though his breed is typically "high energy" he is remarkable sedentary. His favorite thing in the world is TV and he enjoys a good car ride. As for me, I work as the office manager for a construction company an hour away from Missoula. Since I've come out here I've had the incredible opportunity to meet the love of my life, Yvette, and we're getting married on July 1st of 2006. I live in a really crappy apartment with tons of really scary people but I hope to find a house in the near future. The cost of a house in this area is rather high. I miss many of my friends who primarily reside in the Midwest (where I'm from) but I'm done being a flat-lander. Montana is the most incredible part of the U.S. In case I haven't come off as a complete dork yet, my life-long buddy Eithan and I are developing a role-playing game called Dreaming Eye. It's a work in progress and has been for a number of years but we're nearing completion.

I'm a skinny dude living in the Midwest with an overactive imagination. I just got out of the Army (4 brutal long years) and landed a decent job in sales and other misc. office related things. My son Brody gets bigger and bigger everyday, a steady reminder that I'm not a little kid anymore. Being a Dad is a surreal feeling, it certainly helps to have a wonderful partner at my side. My wife Brandy is the love of my life; she has a knack for making the hectic things life throws at you melt away. Together we might actually stand a chance at raising a decent little kid. Here's to hoping. Another big part of my life is gaming, specifically in the genre of roleplaying. I currently run a Werewolf group and post their happenings on another blog. My biggest gaming project is Dreaming Eye, an entire roleplaying game that Jarrett, my long-time partner in crime, and I have poured years into creating. The game is wrapping up currently and I am very excited to see all the hard work and energy we've put into it finally pay off.
